In the area of Villafranca del Bierzo, on the border between León and Galicia, around our winery, we have 24 hectares of vineyards of the autochthonous varieties that we elaborate: Mencía and Godello.
Under an Atlantic microclimate, in the farms of calcareous clay soils, which offer us mineral notes. At a certain height, without nearby irrigated areas, we take care of our stocks, respecting their cultivation as much as possible. We harvest by hand, with care. The best that we collect, the healthiest and richest grape, is the one that we bottle and that is part of our wines. It is the grape with which we make the wines of Bodegas Adriá.
